You sure have heard a lot of those male enhancement pills that are all over the market now. They've become so popular that even if you use the internet and do a search, you will see something like this: Increase the size of your penis naturally.
If you're like me and you like to stay up late at night, chances are you'll see some interesting advertisements on television. When I was little kid we had things like the Pocket Fisherman and the Ginsu(?) Knives to entertain us when we were half asleep. Of course some of these infomercials were pretty intense and sometimes more interesting than the old B&W movie we were watching. The guy with the Knives was dressed up as a Martial Artist. He'd use a knife to cut a metal pipe in half and then use it to slice a tomato! Hey, that was pretty impressive to a little kid, I must say. He'd then use these knives as weapons and throw them into the wall. Great stuff! I tried to talk my mom into buying them, just so I could get my hands on these lethal-kitchen weapons for my own purposes. To my dismay, she was less impressed with these commercials than me.
We still have the same exciting infomercials to help keep late-nighters and insomniacs company. But there are some changes from the types of ads we used to see twenty-five years ago. Now we get to watch advertisements for, amazingly enough, penis enlargement products.
This is simply incredible. It wasn't that long ago that X-Rated movies were shown in darkened alleys, right across from the adult "bookstore." People used to be harassed and jailed for just working in places like this. People would even get jailed for showing "adult" movies in "adult" theatres and such places would be closed down. People like Larry Flynt worked hard and tirelessly so that people could realize true First Amendment Rights. This certainly helped bring "adult" materials right out of the back alleys and into our living rooms.
Of course, the Internet has a lot to do with it, too. I can just imagine if I was a kid now and had access to the Internet. Honestly, that would be a big mistake. I don't know how parents can possibly monitor over what their kids are looking at on the Internet. Seriously, kids today are smarter than ever before. They have a grasp on technology that I'll never be able to grasp. Now, if the people working at the S.E.C. were smart enough to get around government firewalls to get access to on-line pornography, while at work, on the Internet, do you really think kids won't be able to do that?

Anyway, seeing penis enlargement advertisements like this on television is almost hard to believe. There was a company in the late 1970s or late 1980s that was selling a "Solar Powered Clothes Dryer." They advertised it in magazines and periodicals. Well, come to find out, you'd purchase this thing and get a clothes line and a set of clothes pins in the mail. A complete rip-off, of course, but actually the merchandise was as promised. And quite a good joke, actually.
But this story gets even better, there was a syndicated television show, at the time and I've forgotten the name of it, that talked about rip-off scams and con-artists trying to sell people these things. So they did a segment on this "Solar Powered Clothes Dryer," telling everybody it was just a scam.
The funny thing was, after the show ran that segment exposing this "Dryer," the people selling it used their creativity and put it to good use. They emblazoned their ads with a red emblem with the words, you guessed it, "As Seen On TV."
Their sales more than doubled.
Now penis enlargement merchandise is available, for sale, from your very own television. However, as we have just learned, it still doesn't justify that something that is, "As Seen On TV" actually works and is beneficial. Now, does it?
